Guardiola Presents New Extremadura Government Structure
Extremadura President Maria Guardiola presented her new government team this Wednesday. The new cabinet maintains her core circle of trusted officials. The regional councils are scheduled to take office tomorrow. The new regional government of Extremadura, led by María Guardiola, is assuming responsibilities this Thursday. The cabinet includes two vice presidents, one from Vox and one from the PP, to balance political forces. The administration consists of 10 counselors, split equally between six women and six men. María Guardiola presented the new regional government for Extremadura, which includes 10 departments and 2 vice-presidencies. The executive structure expanded from 9 to 10 departments following an agreement with the VOX party. Averbautista will serve as vice-president and counselor of the presidency.
