Cali Mayor Deploys 500 Police After Attacks
Cali Mayor Alejandro Eder announced the deployment of 500 additional police officers to reinforce security in the Valle del Cauca region. The measure follows recent terrorist attacks in Cali and Palmyra. Authorities are also increasing rewards for information leading to the capture of those responsible, with existing rewards reaching up to 200 billion pesos. Eight additional military platoons will be deployed to the region to support security efforts.
