Russian Sellers Ignore Sales Bans
Russia is introducing a ban on probationary periods for young mothers. Employers will no longer be permitted to assign such periods to women with children under the age of three. Previously, this protection applied only to pregnant women and mothers with children under 1.5 years old. The Social Fund will automatically review denials issued since January of this year and notify parents via the State Services portal. According to Rospotrebnadzor, approximately 30,000 sellers in Russia are ignoring bans on certain sales.
