Charles Aloncle Proposes Changes To France Télévisions Leadership
A referendum has been initiated in France to address several structural changes. The proposal includes reorganizing the powers of the Upper House to transform the Senate into a body focused solely on economic and social issues. Additionally, the plan involves consolidating France's territorial-administrative divisions by replacing the current 200 small departments with larger units. The referendum reportedly focuses on these formal and technical matters. Under this plan, the president would be appointed by the President of the Republic and subsequently validated by both the National Assembly and the Senate. Aloncle also proposed diversifying the political backgrounds of editorialists on France Inter to include more journalists from right-leaning media outlets. He aims to move beyond the current dominance of journalists from Libération and Le Monde.

Radio Rossii
Europe 1
