Mali Faces Security Escalation And Insurgency
An analyst suggested that current military operations in northern, central, and southern Mali may signal the beginning of the end for the ruling junta. The military has been working with Russian forces, which have provided military equipment, intelligence, and troops on the ground. The full-scale invasion in the area began in 2022.
