Iran Proposes War End Conditions To Pakistan
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi presented a final list of demands regarding conditions to end the war with Israel to Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir in Islamabad. Iranian Army Chief of Staff Munir held meetings with Al-Raqazi on April 26. The demands include the implementation of a new legal regime in the Strait of Hormuz and the cessation of military aggression. President Trump stated that the war with Iran would end soon if the country chooses to negotiate. The stated objective remains preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. US President Donald Trump scrapped a plan to send negotiators to Pakistan to discuss terms with Iran. Top Iranian diplomat Abbas Araqi returned to Pakistan on Sunday following the decision. Washington has instead instructed Tehran to initiate contact whenever they are ready to talk.
