Greek Minister Accused Of Misusing Recovery Funds
Deputy Minister Angelos Kirtsos stated that 36 billion euros from the recovery fund were utilized through effective state coordination. Kirtsos said that the funds would not have been invested without a collaborative state approach. The remarks were made following a New Democracy pre-conference in Nafplio. Mitsotakis noted that major political parties are considering both election Sunday and the following Monday. Kerzos said that these funds required an efficient and cooperative state to be invested effectively. The minister allegedly failed to invest the funds effectively due to authoritarian governance, according to the source.
