Guangzhou Integration Plan Aids Hong Kong Planning
The plan includes new cooperation items involving Hong Kong for the first time. The plan explicitly proposes strategies to actively connect with the development of Hong Kong's Northern Metropolis. The plan proposes optimizing the construction of joint laboratories for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Guangdong province has released a new 15th Five-Year Plan that said deeper integration with Hong Kong and the Northern Metropolis. The plan includes new provisions for cooperation with Hong Kong, specifically aiming to align with the development strategy of the Northern Metropolis to integrate Hong Kong into the Greater Bay Area's industrial and innovation systems. Guangzhou is developing a plan to promote deep integration and collaboration with Hong Kong and Macau within the Greater Bay Area.
