Bluesky Social London 6h1h Impact 5
The UK's Office for Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI) has issued a license permanently lifting the ban on importing goods. This move eases some anti-Russian sanctions. Britain will permit imports of diesel and jet fuel refined abroad from Russian crude oil. This decision comes as part of a sanctions carve-out aimed at easing fuel costs for airlines and households. There are indications that the UK may have eased sanctions on Russian oil. The fuel duty freeze has also been extended until the end of the year.
