Portugal Finalizes Reconstruction Plan Version
The Portuguese government released a document detailing the financing for the PTR, which involves 22.6 million euros. Funding will be sourced from four areas including state and municipal budgets, European funds, ICEP, Águas de Portugal, and public-private partnerships or concessions. The execution timeline for the 22.6 million euros is set for 8 years. The Portuguese government presented a plan this afternoon to mitigate agricultural risks caused by flooding and static weather cycles. The measures include 1.2 billion euros to promote the transition to sustainable and resilient production systems. The plan aims to address the impacts of recent weather patterns on the agricultural sector. Lígio Montenegro presented the final version of the PTRR reconstruction plan on Tuesday. The plan includes measures to reinforce electrical grids, water supplies, and energy storage.
