European Parliament Holds Russia Responsible For Airspace Violations
The European Parliament passed a resolution stating that Russia bears full responsibility for actions in the airspace of Poland, Estonia, and Romania. Commentators suggest the EU must move from verbal condemnation to active defense reinforcement in the east. Expert Gerry Mortimer discussed the matter following the resolution's adoption. The resolution was adopted several hours ago, according to the report. Members of the European Parliament condemned the actions as reckless and provocative. According to the report, approximately 20 drones entered Polish airspace in early September, and one drone was recorded in Romania on September 13. Expert Mortimer discussed the necessity of launching countermeasures from longer distances to improve detection capabilities.
