China Urges Israel To Observe Gaza Ceasefire

Mastodon New York 14d6d Impact 8
Chinese representative Fu Song called on all parties, specifically naming Israel, to adhere to a ceasefire in Gaza. The statement was made during a session at the United Nations Security Council. Israel's foreign minister rejected claims from Ukraine regarding stolen grain, describing the allegations as "Twitter diplomacy." Israeli officials stated they require evidence to examine the matter. Ukraine has previously accused Israel of receiving stolen grain from Russian-occupied territories. China is urging Israel to immediately and unconditionally release two activists from the world supervision fleet. China also calls for Israel to lift its blockade on Gaza to allow humanitarian aid. The statement was made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Separately, Slovakia's F-16 jets will join NATO's air policing mission for Baltic states.
