Vienna Youth Prison Capacity Increases To 90
Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) ombudsman Gabi Schwarz stated that the number of inmates at the Mönigplatz youth prison in Vienna will increase from 72 to 90. Schwarz expressed concern that the facility lacks the necessary personnel and physical space to accommodate the increase. She noted that additional bunk beds would need to be set up and that training businesses might remain closed due to staff shortages.
