Shadow Minister Urges Acquisition Of B-21 Raiders
Shadow Defence Minister James Patterson told the National Press Club that the Australian Federal government should consider acquiring B-21 Raider stealth bombers from the United States. The B-21 is an unmanned aircraft capable of performing long-range missions undetected by enemies. Patterson noted the capability has been reviewed in the Defence Strategic Review, though previous advice suggested it was not appropriate. It remains unclear if the American military would share this specific capability with the Australian Defence Force.
