Chicago to Pay $3.5 Million in Police Chase Settlement
City lawyers have recommended that Chicago pay $3.5 million to the family of a man killed by a driver being pursued by police. This settlement is the latest large payment prompted by police actions. The settlement was unanimously approved by the city council.
