Vietnam Objects To Taiwan Sovereignty Claims In Spratly Islands

The dispute follows reports that Taiwan's President received a postcard from Taiping Island, which asserts national sovereignty in the South China Sea. The issue was raised during questioning in the Legislative Yuan.
