Azores Finance Law Revisions Threaten Stability
Natalé Carvalho stated that revisions to the regional finance law for the Azores are detrimental to the stability and predictability of state transfers to the autonomous region. Carvalho noted that while there is no risk of a bailout, there is a problem with public accounts. The revisions are described as being harmful to the regularity of transfers required for regional expenses.
