Vice Premier Han Zheng Meets UN In Beijing

Chinese Vice Premier Liu Guozhong met with a delegation led by Li Xi from the Belarusian Presidential Administration in Beijing on April 27. General Secretary Xi Jinping presided over the meeting, noting that major economic indicators have exceeded expectations this year despite ongoing challenges. The meeting on April 28 also analyzed the depth and stability of the strategic partnership between Iran and Russia. The 22nd plenary session of the 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee convened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on the afternoon of the 27th. He Lifeng stated that China will continue to expand high-level opening-up to create market opportunities for foreign enterprises. He invited foreign companies to participate in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
