Colombian Poll Shows Fragmented Presidential Field

An Invamer poll for Blue Radio and Noticias Caracol reveals a highly polarized Colombian political landscape. Sergio Fajardo leads the group with 2.5% support. Other candidates include Santiago Botero at 1.4%, Carlos Caicedo at 2.0%, and Luis Gilberto Morillo at 0.4%. Several other individuals, including Mauricio Liscano, Miguel Uribe León, and Roy Barreras, each hold 0.4% or less of the vote. Sergio Fajardo currently holds 2.5% of the intention to vote, following a 2018 performance where he reached the second round. Claudia López recorded 4.6 million votes, representing 23.78% in previous cycles, while other candidates like Santiago Botero and Carlos Caicedo hold minimal percentages. The Green party recently announced an alliance with Imán Cepeda despite internal dissent from congressmen such as Katty Jubina and Jota Fernández. Iván Cepeda Castro could win in the first round on May 31 with 31% support. In a potential second round, Cepeda would reach 51.2% against Paloma Valencia's 46.6%. Other candidates include Sergio Fajardo at 2.5%, Claudio López at 3.6%, and Santiago Boteiro at 1.4%. Undecided voters currently represent between 8% and 11% of the electorate. The poll shows left-wing support grew from 24% to 29% while the center declined.
