Russia Accuses West of Hypocrisy on Strait of Hormuz
Russia's ambassador to the UN, Vasily Nabanzia, accused Western countries of hypocrisy at a Security Council meeting. He stated Iran has the right to limit traffic in the Strait of Hormuz. Nabanzia claimed the West is trying to place full responsibility on Iran, as if Iran attacked first and is obstructing navigation. He compared the situation to actions he claims Ukraine is taking. He likened Iran's actions to what he claims Ukraine is doing in the ongoing war.
