Romania Introduces New Cyber Incident Reporting System
Romania's Senate has approved a cybersecurity law, but the Chamber of Deputies is reportedly hesitant to finalize it. Concerns exist regarding how data from private lives on social media might become public. The National Directorate for Cybersecurity (DNSC) is a key source of information on these matters. The National Cybersecurity Incident Reporting Platform has introduced a new set of tools to protect digital space. These tools include a web platform that lists web domains associated with fraudulent, abusive, or risky activities identified through technical analysis. The measures have been activated in Bucharest as part of a national information security infrastructure modernization effort.
