Putin Ready To Meet Russian PM After Zelenskyy Message
Russian President Vladimir Putin stated he has never refused a meeting and that anyone wishing to meet should come to Moscow. He added that a meeting is also possible in a third country, but only for the purpose of signing a treaty. The upcoming meeting on agricultural cooperation in Moscow will be held under the leadership of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Russian President stated on Saturday that he accepts a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelensky in a third country. However, he imposes the condition that a definitive peace agreement must be on the table for the meeting to occur. He said that Russia has never refused dialogue with Europe and views former German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder as the preferred negotiator from the European Union. Russian President Putin stated on May 9 that he would neither propose nor refuse a meeting with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.
