Hungarian PM Magyar Addresses Public After Election
Magyar won the Hungarian elections on April 20, defeating 16-year incumbent Prime Minister Péter Orbán. The parliament will allow the new Prime Minister to return, who is expected to continue Orbán's reforms. Magyar stated the Hungarian population provided a mandate to end a decades-long crisis and create a new face for Hungary. Magyar and 140 deputies from the TIS party exited through the main wing of the Hungarian Parliament building, which displayed Hungarian, Székely Land, and European Union flags.
