Polish MP Accused Of Insulting Colleagues
Politicians from the Law and Justice party are accused of cynically using fear of migrants and spreading disinformation for political gain. The narrative is seen as aligning with Putin's agenda, which is personally distressing to the speaker. This strategy was employed from the beginning of the conflict. MP Antoni Macierewicz is accused of insulting members of the Sejm during a session. The allegations include calling colleagues Russian agents and accusing them of cooperating with Russian intelligence services. Maria Koźlakiewicz, a member of the Sejm Mining Regulation Commission, stated that Macierewicz unsuccessfully attempted to explain his remarks during the meeting. Macierewicz's defense reportedly argued that he was referring to the leadership of the SKW.
