Ukrainian Veterans Eligible For Vehicle Conversion Reimbursement

Ukrainian veterans are entitled to additional support, including two annual payments, health and social assistance for socio-household issues. Each payment is equivalent to one month's monetary allowance. Injuries are a direct basis for receiving these benefits. The state also pays compensation for established disability or partial loss of working capacity. The amount depends on the disability group or percentage of functional loss determined by an expert commission. Veterans and combat participants in Ukraine can receive full compensation for the cost of a vehicle. The state will cover half of the cost, while insurance companies will cover the remaining half. The service is available to combat participants and persons with national status. Veterans who have registered a business and obtained veteran entrepreneur status are eligible for grants. Non-profit public associations registered for at least a year, whose statutory activities focus on protecting rights and freedoms and meeting the interests of veterans and their families, are also eligible if they have a veteran or family member in leadership.
