Spanish Education Spending Stagnates
Nominal spending on education in Spain has increased by 37%, but real spending per student has only risen by 0.3% over 15 years. Some regions have even seen a decrease in real spending. Educational dropout rates remain stagnant, with regional disparities, ranging from below 4% in Euskadi to 20% in Murcia.
