Former Marine Commander Lim Sung-geun Sentenced In First Trial
A court ruled that former division commander Lim Jeon was most responsible in a case, citing his exercise of actual command and control and the ripple effect of his orders. The court also criticized Lim Jeon for sending text messages to the bereaved family of Private First Class Chae, blaming the victim.
