German Youth Prisons Reportedly Overcrowded
The SDAJ, the former youth organization of the German Communist Party (DKP), states it remains close to the party. Both organizations are currently being observed by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (Verfassungsschutz). A survey and outreach program was conducted across Germany over the last three months, including North Rhine-Westphalia, the Ruhr area, Cologne, Steinfurt, and Bocholt. The program invited young people to share their thoughts, with initial findings indicating that economic situation and climate change were not their primary concerns, which was described as surprising.
