Australian Union Administrator Resigns Amid Reform Plan
Mark Irving, appointed administrator of the CFMEU in 2024, has resigned from his position. Irving had previously spoken out about organized crime links and autocratic rule within the union and had faced threats since taking the role. The Australian Constructors Association CEO John Davis stated that the outgoing administrator played an role in investigating past wrongs.
