He departed Alexandria, Egypt, this morning, after inaugurating the new campus of the Sangor University of Francophonie yesterday. French President Emmanuel Macron is continuing his four-day tour of Africa, arriving in Kenya today for an Africa-France summit. The summit aims to propose a maritime coalition to involve African countries in a neutral multinational mission to secure the Strait of Hormuz. He is scheduled to visit Ethiopia on Wednesday.
