Illinois Lawmakers Propose Bans On Israel Arms Exports
Illinois congressional representatives Mike Quigley, Delia Ramirez, and Sean Castin are introducing legislation to limit military support to Israel. Quigley and Ramirez are cosponsoring the Block the Bombs Bill, which aims to ban U.S. exports of defense articles and services, including bunker-busting bombs. Castin is sponsoring the Cease Fire Compliance Act to prohibit the use of U.S.-made weapons in Gaza and the West Bank if Israel violates ceasefire agreements.
