Ukraine Nuclear Substations Targeted In Attacks
Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal warned at an international Chernobyl conference that Russian strikes on critical infrastructure pose risks to nuclear safety. He stated that successful strikes on these stations could lead to emergency shutdowns and disrupt the stable operation of atomic units. Ukraine requires modern air defense systems to protect these facilities from such attacks. The minister noted that Russia has targeted these critical sites 155 times since the full-scale invasion began.
