Ann Arbor Approves New Library and Pedestrian Bridge Project
The Ann Arbor City Council approved a sale agreement for a new library project in downtown Ann Arbor. The development includes building a new library atop the Library Lane underground garage and at the current library site. Two buildings will be connected via a pedestrian bridge over Library Lane. Plans also include constructing apartments above the libraries. The Ann Arbor Library Board has not yet approved the deal. This plan aims to expand local library facilities and connectivity in the downtown area.
