Peruvian Government Coordinates Repatriation of Citizens from Congo
The Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is managing the delivery of safe conducts for four Peruvian nationals. These citizens requested to return to Peru after being sent to the Democratic Republic of the Congo by the United States last week. The consular mission in Nairobi is currently handling the matter. The government is working to facilitate their return following their recent deployment. Consular officials in Nairobi are issuing safe-conduct passes to facilitate the prompt departure and return of nationals to Peru. The consular section in Nairobi is maintaining continuous communication with representatives from the International Organization for Migration to monitor the situation.
