Polish KNF, Tusk Address Crypto Scam With Russian Trail
Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek and Coordinator of Special Services Tomasz Siemoniak are scheduled to provide updates in the Senate regarding the Zonda Crypto exchange fraud. The Prime Minister stated that a new cryptocurrency regulation project will return to the Sejm later this week. This proposed legislation marks the third version of the statute. Some parts of the Senate proceedings regarding this matter may be held in camera. The Financial Supervision Commission (KNF) reportedly postponed actions related to a crypto probe. Donald Tusk stated that a "Russian trail" in the scam is very clear, and he has spoken about this issue from the beginning. The probe concerns how many people lost money after investing in cryptocurrency guilds. Investigators are also examining how these funds flowed and what was financed.
