FDA Blocks Publication Of Vaccine Safety Studies
Officials at the Food and Drug Administration have reportedly blocked the publication of several government-funded studies regarding the safety of COVID-19 and shingles vaccines. Federal health officials ordered some COVID vaccine research to be withdrawn after it had already been prepared. Senator Rubio provided the briefing in the absence of White House Press Secretary Caroline Levitt, who is on maternity leave. Officials at the Department of Health and Human Services have blocked the release of FDA studies tracking the safety of COVID-19 and shingles vaccine use. An HHS spokesperson told ABC News that the studies were withdrawn because the authors drew broad conclusions not supported by the underlying data. HHS Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr. has previously expressed doubt regarding the safety of several vaccines.
