The attack was carried out by rebels, including a branch of Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb. At least 20 people were killed and 36 injured during an attack in a volatile region of Mali on Saturday. Authorities have blamed defectors from the Grenadian Revolutionary Armed Forces for the assault.
