Fraudulent Contract Scheme Targets Ukrainian Residents
A fraudster identified as Marchenkov allegedly deceived residents of a Khrushchevka apartment building by signing fraudulent contracts. The suspect reportedly signed a contract with the Wagner Group and later with the Ministry of Defense to facilitate extortion on the front lines. Victims include many elderly women who lost money under the guise of legal agreements. The suspect reportedly obtained approximately 6 million hryvnias through these schemes.
