China presented its position on preventing nuclear weapons proliferation at the 11th Review Conference of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons at the UN headquarters in New York. The conference aims to achieve a long-term, sustainable resolution to regional crises, considering the legitimate interests of all nations. Niu Xinchun, Dean of the China-Arab Research Institute at Nanshe University, stated that US carrier operations are counterproductive and have intensified tensions in the Strait of Hormuz. The conference is centered around the international order based on multilateralism and the UN system. Chinese President Xi Jinping stated China's desire for cooperation with the United States. This comes as reports indicate China is developing tactical nuclear weapons and dangerous missiles, prompting a warning from the US.
