RFI Monde Kinshasa 8d7d Impact 5
Several thousand demonstrators marched from Boulevard Lumumba toward the Parliament headquarters in Kinshasa. The protest was organized by the presidential party to demonstrate its political strength. Thousands of people demonstrated in Kinshasa between Boulevard Lumumba and the Parliament headquarters on Monday. The protesters, responding to a call from the presidential UDPS party, expressed support for recent US sanctions against former leader Joseph Kabila.
