Thai Sect Leader Proposes Drug Probe Committee

The leader of the Lang Pam sect, Dat Da, has proposed the establishment of an examination committee. Dat Da stated that the sect's management body has numerous issues. The sect will open registration for one week, with payments to be made over four months, totaling 4,000 baht per person. The government will cover 60% of the costs, and eligible individuals will pay 40%. An estimated 30 million people are expected to be eligible. Dat Thien stated that the sect's management has more issues, and parents have accused the sect of being involved with drugs. The sect's administrative body has more problems, according to parents.
