White House Dinner Attacker Wounded and Detained
The US House Science Commission has dismissed 24 members of the body with immediate effect. The shooter's identity and specific motives remain unknown at this time. Cole Allen has been identified as the suspect in the shooting during the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington DC. The incident occurred as the national anthem was being played, causing President Trump to be rushed from the ballroom. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche stated that preliminary information suggests the suspect was targeting members of the administration. Investigators are currently working to determine a specific motive. The event was attended by over 2,000 journalists and government officials. Sam Greenglass was present at the Washington Hilton when the gunfire occurred. James Matthews was also in the hall at the moment shots were fired.
