China Targets Protesters Wearing "TOB" T-Shirts
China has increased repression due to pressure from its northern neighbor, according to reports. The crackdown was triggered by young men wearing black T-shirts with 'T.O.B.' printed on them, an abbreviation for 'Tibet Original Blood' or 'Tibet Original Brother'. Viral video clips of the shirts prompted the response. China alleges the Free Tibet movement is behind the trend, though the movement has denied these claims.
