Catholic Bishop Advocates Return To Conscription
Catholic Military Bishop Overbeck of Essen called for a rapid return to mandatory military service in Germany. Overbeck stated that voluntary service alone is insufficient to increase the number of soldiers from the current 186,000 to the target of 260,000.
