Domestic Violence Offenses Rise 4.4 Percent In Switzerland
Documented cases of racial discrimination in Switzerland increased to 1,245 cases last year. This represents an increase of 34 cases compared to the previous period. The Swiss Advisory Network for Victims of Racism reported that the most frequent complaints involved racism against Black people and xenophobia. The current rate averages one infraction every 25 minutes. Reynard, president of the cantonal directors of social affairs, noted the need to strengthen measures against this societal issue.
