Modi Congratulates New NITI Aayog Members
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the appointment of Dr. Prasar Bharati serves as India's public service broadcaster. The appointment was announced via the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Balasubramanian and Dr. Modi stated that their extensive experience and deep understanding of various issues will significantly strengthen policy formulation. The announcement follows a circular dated April 13, 2026, regarding the inclusion of central employees. The appointment is part of the ongoing structural organization of the government's policy think tank. The announcement followed a program attended by Defense Chief Anil Chauhan, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Defense Secretary Rajish Kumar Singh, and Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth. The Prime Minister noted their rich experience in a social media post.
