Novaya Gazeta Continues Work Despite Pressure
Dmitry Muratov, former editor-in-chief of Novaya Gazeta, received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2021. The newspaper faced pressure in Russia and had its license revoked in 2022. Some employees founded Novaya Gazeta Europe in exile, while work also continued within Russia.
