Soviet Tram 'Amerikanka' Operated In Moscow
The Soviet nuclear industry operated as a state within a state, behind a wall of secrecy. Yevhen Slavsky, also known as Big Efhen, headed the Ministry of Medium Machine Building. This ministry oversaw the Soviet Atom Weapons Programme and areas of the civilian nuclear power industry. A unique motor ship appeared on the Moscow River during the International Festival of Youth and Students. This vessel was described as fast and powerful, seeming to fly over the water.
