Some states have denounced the situation as a violation of international law. A group of 159 activists from 14 different countries, including 18 Turkish nationals, arrived in Istanbul via plane. The group arrived to describe their experiences and the intervention by Israeli forces. The activists noted they had not reached their goal of entering Gaza with supplies including medicine and food.
