Japan To Support Vietnam Strategic Infrastructure
Japanese and Vietnamese leaders are meeting to confirm cooperation in securing crude oil procurement. This concept focuses on promoting regional stability through the rule of law and free trade. Japan currently has 5,722 active investment projects in Vietnam with a total investment value of 78.9 billion USD. As of January 1, the country ranks third among 153 nations and territories investing in Vietnam. Trade turnover between Vietnam and Japan has shown stable growth, reaching approximately 52 billion USD last year. The two nations are focusing on practical projects, including the construction of liquefied natural gas plants in several locations. Japanese Prime Minister Takei Chi is scheduled to visit Vietnam to strengthen bilateral ties and future cooperation plans. Both countries aim to leverage their respective strengths to complement each other.
